Happy New Year. It’s that time of year when people look back at the old year and/or forward to the New Year, and WordPress helps bloggers with the process by presenting some handy statistics which have helped me kickstart my 2011 blog output.
Apparently, this blog was viewed about 12,000 times in 2010 (that’s about 29 full Boeing 747s). This figure is slightly down on 2009, partly because of the pressure of client work and activity in other places (notably my construction collaboration technology blog, ExtranetEvolution.com, and Be2camp). But I have resolved to post a bit more frequently here in 2011.
In 2010, I added 58 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 178 posts.
The busiest day of 2010 was 17 September with 239 views. The most popular post that day was Best use of Social Media?. Second most popular post of the year was actually written well over a year ago: 10 ways social media can help your construction client has been attracting traffic since November 2009.
Thanks to everyone who’s visited over the past year (and extra special thanks to those who’ve commented).
