Take the CAPSIG construction PR survey

CAPSIGlogo-2014The Construction and Property special interest group (CAPSIG) of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations is running an online survey looking at construction PR professionals’ use of social media.

Following an approach from a Canada-based PR practitioner, it adopts a questionnaire format used by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), and aims to compare construction practice against industry benchmarks, and assess PR practices in the north American and UK construction markets. If you undertake any work in construction PR, please complete the survey, and also please share the link with other construction PR people you know (for example, perhaps you employ an agency or independent practitioner to manage your PR activities).

CAPSIG (which I currently chair) is planning to collate the results of the survey during late October and then publish the findings in mid-November (provisionally, 12 November in London – we plan to live-stream this event so that results are shared online, including in the US and Canada, simultaneously). More details will follow nearer the time.
